GyrO.

(02)

Can touch become a spatial language?

GyrO explores whether people can perceive direction, distance and spatial intent without relying on vision or audio. The current prototype combines a spherical touch surface, IMU, two-axis gimbal and directional impact.

GyrO spherical tactile research prototype
AVibration array

Weak directional clarity and limited information bandwidth.

BSolenoid impact

Clearer momentary feedback, but insufficient direction precision.

CDirectional gimbal

Current preferred system for physically oriented tactile vectors.
